(CEA)® today announced specialized show floor exhibit areas focused on technology innovations in healthcare, fitness and other lifestyle-centric areas at the 2012 International
®. The Digital Health and Sport and Fitness TechZones, produced by Living in Digital Times, is both a series of conferences designed to educate and entertain CES attendees and an exhibit area in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center and World Trade Center (LVCC). Owned and produced by CEA, the 2012 International CES, the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology, is scheduled January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Wireless technologies are driving innovative advancements within the health and fitness markets and are helping make crucial information easier to access and share,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, events and conferences, CEA. “The Sport and Fitness and Digital Health TechZones will enable attendees at the 2012 CES to experience the latest innovations in the growing digital health and fitness marketplace.”
Highlighting the Digital Health and Sports and Fitness conferences will be visionaries including Martin Cooper (News – Alert), inventor of the first portable cell phone; Emilio Pardo, executive vice president and chief brand officer of AARP; Reed Tuckson, chief of medical affairs and executive vice president of the United Health Group and Gregory T. Lucier, chairman and CEO, Life Technologies.
Exhibits by Alcatel-Lucent, Ant+, Continua Health Alliance (News – Alert), Scientific American, Omek Interactive, Recon Instruments, Ideal Life, DeLorme, BodyMedia Fit, Polk Audio, Scosche, United Health Group, are just a few of the exciting health and fitness technology companies that will be featured on the 2012 CES show floor.

Produced by Living in Digital Times, the Digital Health Summit, comprised of 9,500 net square feet of exhibit space, will showcase the up-and-coming market of digital health and wellness devices, related applications and services.
